Bosch recommends periodic inspection of the AquaStop water supply hose on all dishwasher models. The AquaStop system provides excellent flood protection, but the supply hose itself should be inspected annually for signs of wear, cracking, or bulging.
Affected Models
All Bosch dishwashers equipped with AquaStop — this includes the 100, 300, 500, 800, and Benchmark Series manufactured from 2010 to present.
What to Look For
- Cracks, bulging, or discoloration on the supply hose
- Moisture or mineral deposits at hose connection points
- Kinks or sharp bends in the hose behind the dishwasher
- The hose connector should be hand-tight — not loose
Recommended Action
Inspect the AquaStop hose annually. Replace if any signs of wear are found. When replacing, use a genuine Bosch AquaStop hose to maintain the integrated flood protection feature. If you notice water on the floor or error code E15, shut off the water supply immediately and call for service.
Urgency Level
Routine — inspect during annual maintenance. Immediate action required only if damage or leaking is detected.
